With a career spanning branding and corporate identity, graphic design and web development, Jose Luis’ career can be described as a refreshing balance between digital and traditional marketing. At the core of it all, he simply enjoys creating ideas that move people. He spent five years at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, and before that, four years at Evolution Bureau in San Francisco. He has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands, including Adidas, Frito-Lay, Häagen-Dazs, Hewlett-Packard, Hyundai, Milk, Sprint and Wrigley’s. Jose Luis’ work has been honored by the Kellys, Andys, Cannes Lions, Clios, Communication Arts, D&AD, FWA, London International Advertising Awards and the One Show. Creativity, Ad Age, Creative Review, Taschen’s Internet Case Study Book and The Gunn Report are among some of the publications that have showcased his work.
Jose Luis grew up in Mexico city and is the oldest of three. He left Mexico to see the world but ended up meeting his wife Michelle in San Francisco and stayed there for 15 years. He now lives with his wife and two kids in Watertown, west of Boston.
